Say “NO” to Excuses!

Hi you beautiful reader you!

It feels like forever since my last post. But I’m here, I’m here!

On a daily we’re faced with all sorts of challenges. I, unfortunately…experienced that first hand but all in one sitting. From the loss of an amazing friend (may you R.I.P), to family, health and all other things that we deal with on a day to day basis. It’s important that we remember our purpose in life…to really feel and be in the moment. There is nothing worse than feeling like a third party to your own story. It can get overwhelming–and challenging, but the challenges are what shape us into the characters we are and become.

As tough and as trying as those moments may be for your life in all of it’s aspects, we’re still forced to wake up and carry on. Why not carry on and eliminate any of the reasons that fall into the category of excuses? The following would be a few prime examples:

  • I’m too tired
  • I don’t have the resources
  • I’m broke
  • Change is too hard, I give up
  • Fearing the unknown
  • It’s too late
  • I’m too busy

Say NO to excuses! These are all fine examples of how to hold yourself back.  Self sabotage. Don’t be your own worst enemy in life. When you feel like you’re drowning in an overwhelming pool of destruction, it’s okay to stop…look around and make a way for yourself. Even if that means uprooting from your comfort zone. That’s never easy, but what ever is? If you don’t know better to do better, then start from there (the conscious state of mind that has recognized there is an issue) and acquire the knowledge you need to get to where you want to be. We are blessed with more than enough resources these days that a simple library card or computer access can help assist you with. I mean…you’re here now reading this blog–right? I want for YOU what I’d want for anyone. True happiness…and success according to your very own goals. Above all, inner peace.

Love ones self wholeheartedly. Be blessed and cheers to a new year!

-Self Discipline-

Good day to you there!

Lately I’ve been working out to Shaun T’s workout DVDs and have found myself thinking about a few things in the shower (only place I have a peace of mind these days haha jk). I thought about an earlier discussion I had with someone about my admiration for dedicated people who need no crutches and push themselves to their own individual successes. Whether it be those that hold firm to their religious beliefs and promote positive images for those around them, or someone who falls but never stays down long enough pulling themselves up by the boot straps…or parents who never give up on their kids troubled or not. I can respect that motivational way of living…which brings me to my next statement.

Ladies and Gents, no matter what it may be in this world there is no one stopping you from resilience but self. There may be obstacles challenging your path to greatness, but what would life be without them? I urge you not to wait on the next person to get you where you need to be. Have a job interview you cannot make and you’re waiting on your ride who just might make you late? Call a cab in advance. Long day and not enough energy to prepare a meal? Every night set out what you’re having for the following day. Sometimes (in this day and age especially) we get overly consumed with the idea of convenience that it’s immobilized us as people.

Self discipline, hard work pays off.
Self discipline, hard work pays off.

There is always a way, no one ever said it would be easy but you can make it work for you. Be ten steps ahead, write down 5-10 “self mantras” to abide by and attempt to stick to it. It’s okay if you’re not where you want to be when you want to be there. Just don’t stop. I’m amazed at my endurance from day one until now with this workout power trip I’ve been on. A few months from now I’ll be even more shocked lol. Give yourself more than anyone else ever could. Love yourself unconditionally and the need for the essentials to nourishing yourself will come like second nature. If not, there’s all sorts of self help tips available everywhere…that is, it brought you here, right? Cheers!

Until next time…

YOU make it happen, no one else…

Hello friends!

This would have to be one of the most important life lessons. NO ONE ELSE can make you successful. It’s all up to you. You’re responsible for your own success. Period.

On the contrary, no one or no thing can make you fail either. It serves you no good to blame education, the economy, or what ever offsets you’ve had in your life. Carrying on in that manner is taking and accepting the victim mentality. I caution you NEVER to do this. Thousands of individuals have succeeded despite these hardships and even worse, so don’t make excuses for yourself and try convincing yourself that some how you’re some kind of victim.

Just like my last blog, the grass isn’t ANY greener on the other side. You either have it now or can get everything you need to be successful. Just remember it’s up to you, no one else…and then just do it!

Success, Control your destiny

Some may think “that’s easy for xyz to say” when they see successful people, or someone they believe to have more than them. H-E-LL-O!? How do you think anyone is able to say the things they say? Freely available to assist you. Take it and utilize it to your ability.

So it’s not your sponsor, your upline, teacher, boss, family, friends…not the economy or the government. It’s not the compensation plan, or any of these things perceived as road blocks.  Success is YOURS if you really want it…kick those obstacles to the curve. ONLY YOU control this. Keep in mind “If it’s to be, it’s up to me.”

“I used to say, ‘things cost too much.’ Then my teacher straightened me out on that by saying, ‘The problem isn’t that things cost too much. The problems is that you can’t afford it.’ That’s when I finally understood that the problem wasn’t it-–the problem was me!”

Have a plan (a realistic plan)

Good day to you! 🙂

I was reviewing “Rules of Success” at SFI (one of the MANY awesome marketing tips they have available), and thought hmm…here’s something that needed to be heard. In life, everything is done in steps. In school we start from Pre-School and work our way up to college. At work, we start at the bottom and work our way up to the top whether it be a supervisor, manager etc. So just like everyday life, in our business we must work strategically too, right?

Goals are indeed imperative, but without a plan…how is one to obtain their goals? Keep in mind, these goals must be realistic. Makes no sense setting yourself up for something and then feeling like a failure because you’ve set the bar too high too soon. Pace yourself. Set goals, plans

SFI is TRULY one of the few businesses that allow you to earn while you learn. Your first 6-12 months of being here should be viewed as a “training period”. If you expected something overnight, you’re not being realistic. Everyone would be rich, lol! Instead, plan to work the hardest during your first 6-12 months and get compensated the least. Don’t expect large earnings until AFTER you’ve educated yourself and given yourself enough time to implement your plan.

“Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.”

-Fitzhugh Dodson

Be persistent, but remain realistic. Should you have inquires about joining SFI with me as your Team Leader, then contact me here on my blog, Facebook, YouTube  or my website.
